This is my latest update to provide you with information about the impact of Coronavirus (Covid-19) on our community.
The NSW Government has announced the 9pm to 5am curfew in place in Bayside LGA, along with the other LGAs of concern in Sydney, will be lifted from tonight, Wednesday 15 September.
Please note that all other public health orders remain in place.
I’ve been calling for a review of lockdown restrictions on a suburb-by-suburb basis, not based on LGAs.
It’s time to give many in our Bayside community a break. Locals east of Sydney Airport in suburbs such as Botany, Banksmeadow, Eastlakes, Daceyville, Pagewood, Rosebery and Mascot should not be part of the Bayside area of concern. They should be included under the standard ‘Greater Sydney’ rules.
