COVID-19 Update No.29

Thursday 3 December, 2020

The NSW Government has announced the further easing of restrictions to begin from 7 December 2020.

All venues, including pubs, clubs and cafes as well as shops and places of worship, will no longer have a maximum cap on numbers as long as the one person per two square metre rule is followed. Pub patrons will be allowed to stand up while drinking outdoors.

For gyms and nightclubs, the one person per four square metre rule will remain in place with a maximum of 50 people allowed in gym classes or on the dancefloor at nightclubs.

Sporting events will be able to run at 100 per cent seated capacity from next week and indoor venues such as theatres will be allowed to be 75 per cent full.

Organised outdoor events, such as community sport, will be permitted to host up to 3000 people. Up to 5000 people will be allowed to gather at outdoor events such as festivals that are fenced, ticketed and seated.  My staff and I are here to help you.
