This is my latest update to provide you with information about the impact of Coronavirus (COVID-19) on our community.
The NSW Government has announced the temporary closure of the border with Victoria effective from 12.01am on Wednesday 8 July 2020.
The border closure follows the spike in new COVID-19 cases in Victoria.
NSW residents returning from anywhere in Victoria will now have to self-isolate for 14 days. Previously, this was only a requirement for any NSW residents returning from a Melbourne COVID-19 “hotspot”.
We still need to ensure no further spread of COVID-19 in our community. Please maintain 1.5 metres between others and if you are sick or feeling unwell, stay at home and consult your GP.
