Coronavirus (COVID-19) update No.16

Wednesday 3 June, 2020

This is my latest update to provide you with information about the impact of Coronavirus (COVID-19) on our community.

The NSW Government has announced further changes as part of the ongoing easing of social restrictions.

From Saturday 13 June 2020, gyms along with yoga, pilates and dance studios can reopen with up to 10 people per class and 100 people in an indoor venue.

Community centres will be allowed to reopen on the 13th of this month and also some indoor recreational facilities including pools and saunas with restricted numbers.

Tattoo and massage parlours will be allowed to open with up to 10 clients.

Further changes from Wednesday 1 July 2020 will see kids’ sport and community sport competitions restart for those aged 18 years and under. The NSW Government says the return date for adult community sport activities will be made at a later stage.

We still need to help contain any further spread of COVID-19. Please maintain 1.5 metres between others and if you are sick or feeling unwell, stay at home and consult your GP.
