Coronavirus (COVID-19) update No.14

Sunday 24 May, 2020

This is my latest update to provide you with information about the impact of Coronavirus (COVID-19) on our community.

The NSW Government has announced an easing of social restrictions as part of the staged approach that will begin from Friday 15 May and allows:

  • Up to five visitors to a household at any one time
  • Outdoor gatherings of up to 10 people
  • Cafes and restaurants can seat 10 patrons at any one time
  • Playgrounds and outdoor gym equipment to reopen
  • Religious gatherings/places of worship up to 10 worshippers
  • Weddings up to 10 guests, indoor funerals up to 20 mourners and outdoor funerals up to 30 mourners
  • Outdoor pools can open with restrictions on the number of people using the pool at one time.

Our community has shown great discipline in complying with social distancing restrictions during the Coronavirus crisis.

But we must remain highly vigilant, listen to the medical experts and keep the focus on saving lives
